Fight Against Coronavirus: Observation from 6th May 2020 Data

A few observations from 6th May 2020 National Data on the Coronavirus pandemic:-

1. Growth in the confirmed cases was 6.5% on 6th May. Almost the same growth was witnessed on 5th May. Doubling period was 10.8 days. Even if the lockdown has lifted after 14 days, cases would have increased to 1,03,236 if the doubling period was 7 days.

 
2. On 6th May, active cases increased at a higher rate at 5.8% bringing the doubling period to 12.3 days than a day before.

3. Confirmed cases, active cases and tests per million increased at a higher rate on 6th May.


4. Confirmed as well as active cases per test slightly increased on 6th May in comparison to 5th May.


5. As far as recovery is concerned, things are improving day by day as every indicator is improving. Number of recovered cases increased at a higher rate than confirmed cases on 6th May. Growth in recovery is higher than the growth in total confirmed cases.


6. Death to total confirmed cases decreased on 6th May and has flattened in India and proportion of recovered cases is increasing for good reasons.


7. India is doing better than all the countries having more than 30000 confirmed cases.
