Total tests done were 8,01,518 with a cumulative total of 3,17,42,782. Numbers of tests are increasing but there is a need to increase it manifold.

4. The overall recovery rate increased to 73.62% on 18th August 2020 against the daily recovery rate of 92.97%. This is a good indication that daily recovery rate is higher than the overall recovery rate for more than 10 days.

5. Case fatality rate has fallen to 1.92% as on 18th August against the world’s average of 3.52%. It has been consistently falling early April in India.
