A few observations from 2nd September 2020 (National Data) on coronavirus pandemic:-
1. COVID19 new case count increased by 82,860 to the total of 38,48,968 on 2nd September 2020 with 7-days growth rate increasing to 2.18% and the doubling period falling to 32 days. Today the daily count was the highest. The moving averages indicate a clear upward trend in the daily count. From the data, it seems that India is yet to hit the coronavirus peak.
2. The 7-days growth rate of the active cases increased to 1.69% with a decreased doubling period of 41.2 days with the active case count of 8,14,086 on 2nd September 2020. Active cases are continuously increasing everyday. The pressure on healthcare infrastructure is increasing.
A few observations from 1st September 2020 (National Data) on coronavirus pandemic:-
1. COVID19 new case count increased by 78,168 to the total of 37,66,108 on 1st September 2020 with 7-days growth rate increasing to 2.21% and the doubling period falling to 31.7 days. The moving averages indicate a clear upward trend in the daily count. From the data, it seems that India is yet to hit the corona peak.
2. The 7-days growth rate of the active cases increased to 1.82% with a decreased doubling period of 38.29 days with the active case count of 8,00,127 on 1st September 2020. Active cases are continuously increasing and more than one lac new active cases have increased in just eleven days. The growth rate of active cases has increased to almost four times from the previous lowest rate resulting in bringing down the doubling period. This pressure on healthcare infrastructure is increasing.
A few observations from 31st August 2020 (National Data) on coronavirus pandemic:-
1. COVID19 new case count increased by 68,766 to the total of 36,87,939 on 31st August 2020 with 7-days growth rate increasing to 2.21% and the doubling period falling to 31.7 days. The moving averages indicate a clear upward trend in the daily count. From the data, it seems that India is yet to hit the coronavirus peak. In the last one month in August, around 20 lakhs new cases have been added to total.
2. The 7-days growth rate of the active cases increased to 1.6% with a decreased doubling period of 51 days with the active case count of 7,85,128 on 31st August 2020. Active cases are continuously increasing and more than one lac new active cases have increased in just eleven days. The growth rate of active cases has increased to almost three times resulting in bringing down the doubling period. This is due to lower numbers of recoveries in comparison to daily case count. After two weeks, growth rate in the active cases would start falling with improving daily recovery rate.
A few observations from 30th August 2020 (National Data) on coronavirus pandemic:-
1. COVID19 new case count increased by 79,457 to the total of 36,19,169 on 30th August 2020 with 7-days growth rate increasing to 2.21% and the doubling period falling to 31.68 days. Growth has increased for the first time after 40 days. The increase in daily count is unable to offset base effect. This is not a good sign at all. The moving averages indicate a clear upward trend in the daily count. From the data, it seems that India is yet to hit the coronavirus peak and 80,000 daily count may soon become a new normal to hit 85,000 daily in one or two weeks.
2. The 7-days growth rate of the active cases increased to 1.37% with a decreased doubling period of 51 days with the active case count of 7,78,624 on 30th August 2020. Active cases are continuously increasing and more than one lac new active cases have increased in just eleven days. The growth rate of active cases has almost two and half times resulting in bringing down the doubling period. This is due to lower numbers of recoveries in comparison to daily case count. After two weeks, growth rate in the active cases would start falling with improving daily recovery rate.
A few observations from 29th August 2020 (National Data) on coronavirus pandemic:-
1. COVID19 new case count increased by 78,481 to the total of 35,39,712 on 29th August 2020 with 7-days growth rate of 2.18% and a doubling period of 32.12 days. Growth rates are continuously falling but due to increasing base. So this decrease in growth rate indicates nothing. The moving averages indicate an upward trend in the daily count. From the data, it seems that India is yet to hit the coronavirus peak.
2. The 7-days growth rate of the active cases was 1.11% with a doubling period of 62.7 days with the active case count of 7,63,535 on 29th August 2020. Active cases are continuously increasing and the growth rate of active cases has almost doubled resulting in bringing down the doubling period. This is due to lower numbers of recoveries in comparison to daily case count. After two weeks, growth rate in the active cases would start falling with improving daily recovery rate.

1. COVID19 new case count increased by 76,656 to the total of 34,61,321 on 28th August 2020 with 7-days growth rate of 2.19% and a doubling period of 31.94 days. Growth rates are continuously falling but the moving averages indicate an upward trend in the daily count. From the data, it seems that India is yet to hit the coronavirus peak.

Active cases are continuously increasing and the growth rate of active cases has almost doubled. This is due to lower numbers of recoveries in comparison to daily case count. 1. COVID19 new case count increased by 76,826 to the total of 33,84,575 on 27th August 2020 with 7-days growth rate of 2.21% and a doubling period of 31.7 days. The moving averages indicate an upward trend in the daily count. From the data, it seems that India is yet to hit the coronavirus peak.
2. The 7-days growth rate of the active cases was 0.97% with a doubling period of 71.7 days with the active case count of 7,39,818 on 27th August 2020. Active cases are continuously increasing and the growth rate of active cases has almost doubled. This is due to lower numbers of recoveries in comparison to daily case count. After two weeks, growth rate in the active cases would start falling with improving daily recovery rate.

1. COVID19 new case count increased by 75,995 to the total of 33,07,749 on 26th August 2020 with 7-days growth rate of 2.22% and a doubling period of 31.5 days. The moving averages indicate an upward trend. It seems that India is yet to hit the coronavirus peak.
2. The 7-days growth rate of the active cases was 0.77% with a doubling period of 90.2 days with the active case count of 7,23,677 on 26th August 2020. Active cases are continuously increasing.
A few observations from 25th August 2020 (National Data) on coronavirus pandemic:-
1. COVID19 new case count increased by 66,873 to the total of 32,31,754 on 25th August 2020 with 7-days growth rate of 2.24% and a doubling period of 31.2 days. The moving averages indicate an upward trend.
2. The 7-days growth rate of the active cases was 0.58% with a doubling period of 119.8 days with the active case count of 7,04,890 on 25th August 2020. Active cases are continuously increasing.
A few observations from 24th August 2020 (National Data) on coronavirus pandemic:-
1. COVID19 new case count increased by 59,696 to the total of 31,64,881 on 24th August 2020 with 7-days growth rate of 2.28% and a doubling period of 30.65 days. It is second in row when daily count has fallen since very long. Hope this turns into a trend. However, the moving averages indicate otherwise.
2. The 7-days growth rate of the active cases was 0.62% with a doubling period of 112 days with the active case count of 7,03,234 on 24th August 2020. Active cases are continuously increasing.
